Living in Shenzhen

I have lived in Shenzhen for almost one year now. I find Shenzhen now is a developed place. However it is still lacking spots for gathering and entertainment.

Like for example in Hong Kong, we have Wanchai, Langkwai Fong. In Shanghai, you have Qingteindi. I heard Shekou is pretty good. Any ideas or advice.
